Slab pies are square flat pies that can be made with puff pastry or a classic pie dough. Instead of the classic round shape, this pie is square and sliced in long skinny sections. We used a mixture of dried and fresh fruits. The almonds add a subtle flavor and texture to this pie that makes all the difference. Enjoy!
