This weeks pie recipe is a Vanilla Berry Turnover. The best part is, is that you can easily customize this recipe with your choice of fresh berries. We used blackberries and they were incredible. Topped with a nice glaze of vanilla sugar and puffed to perfection, these turnovers are deceivingly easy. Using a pre-maid puff pastry dough went a long way with this recipe. Traditional puff pastry can take days to make, so we decided to take it easy with this recipe. We will tackle that sometime this fall!
